STEP BY STEP GUIDE

  1. Download the latest version of Unifyre Wallet (Supported by iOS and Android)

2. Send some ETH to your Unifyre Wallet (to cover gas costs)

3. Once you go through the registration process, go to ‘Enable / disable’ coins option located on the main screen of the app, here you can enable the exact token that you wish to stake.

4. Only after having enabled the DEFO tokens, send your DEFO to your Unifyre Wallet

5. Once your DEFO have been sent to your Unifyre Wallet, go back to the main screen and click ‘More Settings’ and then ‘Stake and earn’

6. In here you will see a token that was enabled earlier, click the token name

7. You’re now greeted with Staking options. Choose the pool that interests you

8. Now enter the amount of tokens you wish to stake and click ‘Stake’

9. You are required to choose a gas amount for the transaction to go through (Make sure you have some ETH on your Unifyre wallet to cover gas costs)

10. Once you’re happy with the gas amount you can go ahead and confirm the transaction, once approved you’ll be greeted with a “success” page! Now you have successfully staked. (You will also receive an email with a confirmation once approved by the Ethereum network)

General Troubleshooting:

1. Make sure you have BACKED UP and VERIFIED your wallet.

2. Make sure you have “Notification” enabled for the Unifyre Wallet. Staking uses notification for signings transactions

3. iOS users: If you constantly get a black error page on Safari copy the url from safari and open in a desktop browser.

4. Android users: If you click on the “Stake button” and wallet won’t automatically open for you, pull down from the top of screen, expand Unifyre notifications, and click on the “Sign requested” notification. Or just switch back to the wallet a second after you pressed the Stake button.
